Allison Williams

Allison Howell Williams (born April 13 in 1988) was an American actress and producer. Many media publications have named her"a horror queen" due to her roles in horror films. Her first role was as Marnie in HBO's comedy-drama Girls (2012-17) in which she was awarded an Critics' Choice Award. Her breakout came in the role of Rose Armitage, in the thriller Get Out (2017). This earned nominations for the MTV Movie Awards, and Screen Actors Guild Awards. Her next film was in two horror films The Perfection (2018) and M3GAN (2022) The latter of which she was directed. Williams was raised and born in New Canaan (Connecticut), her parents were former NBC Nightly news host and managing editor Brian Williams, and television producer Jane Gillan Stoddard. She has a younger brother. Williams was a student at New Canaan Country School and Greenwich Academy. Then, she went to Yale University majoring in English and was also a part of Morse College and the St. Elmo secret society. In New Canaan, Williams worked in the Ralph Lauren outlet store. Williams was a member for four seasons of Just Add Water, an comedy troupe. The actress also performed in College Musical on YouTube. The project featured Sam Tsui and was directed by Kurt Hugo Schneider, both of whom attended Yale. She graduated in 2010 at Yale with a English degree. Allison Allison Allison
