Ashley Jones
Ashley Aubra Jones, born September 3, 1976 in the United States is an actor. She is known for her role in soap operas such as Megan Dennison on The Young and the Restless and also as Bridget Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful. She also played Daphne in the HBO series True Blood in its second season. Ashley Jones earned a Bachelor of Human Learning, K-8 in 1997 from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Her teaching career began in Maury County. There, she taught Reading up to the kindergarten grades. Following her wedding to the love of her life and UT Martin sweetheart Brent Jones in 1998, she relocated to Thompsons Station. She began her teaching career at Bethesda Elementary, where she taught 4th grade. Between 1999 and 2000, she was able to keep teaching while earning her Masters of Instruction at Trevecca Nazarene University. In 2000, she retired from teaching following the arrival of their son, the oldest of them Baylor. Ashley has focused her efforts in the last 15 years to ensure the health of her children's congregation and community. Ashley has been a leader for a long time in the Preschool Ministry and the Student Ministry of Thompson Station Church. As Ashley was at home with her children they spent three years in homeschooling. While they were homeschooling students took part in a class where Ashley was a teacher of History in the Kindergarten class and the First Grade. God has shown her family that even though she loved doing homeschooling and having time with them and spending time with them, it was the right time for Ashley to go back to school. Brent and Ashley both have five children. Silas, Eliza, and Cruz all go to GCA. Baylor, who is a GCA graduated, is a student at UT Martin, where he plays baseball there. Callan is a graduate of GCA, and is enrolled at Western Kentucky University. The family is active and enjoys hunting, fishing and supporting each other in sports.
